Dr. Dilip sharma graduated from Fudan University in 2000 AD. Working in different departments of Bir hospital he finally joined the then Liver Unit. While working with Dr. Sudhamshu in same unit, he developed an urge of continuing study in same field. With his effort he got chance to study in same Fudan University. He completed his MD (Hepatology) in the year 2007.

After the completion of his study, he re-joined Hepatology Department of Bir hospital. Currently he is working as Professor of Hepatology in National Academy of Medical Sciences. Besides, he is also associated with Liver team at Frontline Hospital. He has special interest in hepatitis and liver cancer. He is also trained in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital under Dr. Anil Arora, eminent Gastroenetrologist of India. He is trained in interventional treatment of liver cancer. He has gained enormous experience in Fibroscan which is available only in our center in whole Nepal.

He has previously served as Registrar of Nepal Medical Council and Director for Standard and Accreditation in Medical Education Commission. He is also keen in research activity. He has published few papers in international and national journals. Few research are on-going and we hope to get those published in near future.
